This Too Shall Pass

I do not pretend to be the first and I will not be the last. On 4 July, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was penned. The US was a colony of England and did not feel England represented the colonists, but instead saw them as a never ending source of revenue and plunder. Today I argue we are living in the same circumstances.

The United States Government has grown into a many tentacled mass of surveillance, violence, crime, and taxation. Not only has it morphed into a giant tentacled tick, it has attached itself to every single American from the moment of birth and demands fealty, loyalty, and money its citizenship, while providing almost nothing of real value in return. The problems with the crown of England pale in comparison to the high crimes, treason, and pedophilia of the US government today.

There exists a better way and solution that is still on the books. The Articles of Confederation, which existed before the Constitution empowered the individual states while limiting the power of the central government. The only reason for the existence of a large central government is to weaken the sovereignty of the individual and the individual states and bring them into submission of the central State. The national government did not have the power to tax, regulate commerce between the states, or to force states to provide troops or send the government money.

The divide between “Red” and “Blue” states has grown beyond repair. The unfettered access to child sacrifice desired within so-called blue states is an abomination to their neighboring red. The desire for secure borders and voter identification for secure elections has the same condition for reds, only in reverse. It seems the only thing the states agree on is their desire to endlessly fund Israel, which is not actually shared by the residents of those states.

I propose the so-called Union be dissolved and replaced with the very same Articles of Confederation. Barring this, there will come a day when brother takes up arms against brother again and this is unnecessary.
