There Is Hope For America
I am normally pretty glum about the hopes of the United States ever looking like it did when I was a kid again, let alone ever being the ideal location and hub of freedom and liberty it once was, even if only in my mind. Then I have an encounter with someone like I did today and I realize there is hope as long as people keep doing the things that result in goodness and joy.
Today I spoke with a lady from England for about 30-40 minutes. She married an American man and he brought her back to the States. I asked her about growing up and what she thought when she got here and it surprised me. This young lady said she grew up in England and everyone was required to learn about the Church of England in school and they also attended services together and grew up and learned in this culture. This caught me by complete surprise.
What she said next did not surprise me though. She said when she was getting ready to move to the States, she thought everyone was Christian and everyone was well learned and knowledgeable in the Bible and a member of a church. She said when she got here it was nothing like that and she has been surprised at the difficulty in finding people who even claimed to be Christian, let alone who attend church on the regular. This should be alarming, but depending on your location I would say it is expected.
I offered to assist her in finding a Bible believing church and told her she could find the kind of community she was looking for and it would not take much effort. Then I asked her if she had gone shooting yet? She said, "Yes, my husband and I bought my first gun and we went shooting and I really had a lot of fun." I told her she was almost pure blooded American then. All she has to do is buy a few more guns and go hunting and go fishing because the crown does not own all the game or fish here and you can still hunt and fish almost anywhere.
She said she was open to fishing but was not secure enough shooting to go hunting. I told her it was only a matter of time and she informed me her husband said the thing about buying her first gun is one is never enough and she will want more. I applauded her and said, "Welcome to America. Now you get it." This right here is the way. We may have disappointed her with our lack of faith, but we stood upright with our gun culture and she loved it. This is the way.
As long as this is still possible, there is a chance the globalist perverts and destroyers who want to enslave us all will lose. We can only hope she is telling all of her English friends and family how great guns are and how much fun they are to shoot. I felt very encouraged after speaking with her that this lifestyle is still appealing to people who know nothing about it.
