Reject the War on Drugs

Unfortunately, in many instances, the State can rely on Law and Order Christians to support the State's most awful laws, because Christians feel the need to follow any and all laws as if the government does it, because it must be lawful, right?

What this stems from is a poor understanding of Scripture and where the State stands in contrast to God and creation. The State is Satan's domain and stands in opposition to God. I put this blame on Constantine and every Christian that has not recognized the poisonous marriage between the Church and the State.

The War on Drugs is a war on creation. The War on Drugs enables the State to exercise nearly carte blanche control and power over creation based on laws that were created on a whim. With the stroke of a pen, an entire group of people were deemed criminal. This is not a promotion of the use of intoxicants, but it is a lambasting of the State for criminalizing bad/sinful personal choices and then profiting from that decision.

The War on Drugs has resulted in a bloated prison system that has destroyed families. The War on Drugs has bloated police forces, while also militarizing them as a self licking ice cream cone with lawyers, judges, and police unions that all benefit from the War on Drugs and all have self interest in prosecutions, no matter how fraudulent because asset seizure laws make them wealthy.

The War on Drugs has created global gang warfare by driving up the prices, increasing the number of drugs, and driving their lethality to make the risk worth it. Vast tracts of land across the planet are wastelands and no go zones for normal folks as drug lords created by the United States rule through terror.

In front of all these evils and many more, stand an army of Christians supporting the unlawful use of narcotics. Christians, we must reject the War on Drugs because then we can be consistent advocates for creation and life. The War on Drugs empowers evil and we must stand united against it.
